Ivan Sugarman is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Ivan qualified in 1953 and after a period as an Auxiliary Officer in the Royal Air Force formed the predecessor firm to Leigh Carr in 1955. He brings a wealth of experience to the Practice having a wide ranging knowledge of Finance and Business generally.

Ivan advises on Capital and Inheritance tax planning issues.

In the 11th and 12th centuries half a million pilgrims a year travelled on foot from all over Europe to Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain. In September 1992 Patrick Shanahan retraced their steps, recording his 500 mile journey in a series of photographs, some of which are reproduced on this website.
